JACK-O-LANTERN CONTEST
Jack-O-Lantern Spooktacular Contest!
Carve your best and bring it to Cedar Bluff – “HALLOWEENTOWN” - on October 26, 2019 at 5:00 P.M.
RULES:
All entries must be labeled with the following information (on an index card or alike taped to the back of the pumpkin): name, address, phone number, and please note if a commercial stencil was used.
Please indicate whether you would like to have your pumpkin returned to you or if you prefer to donate your pumpkin to the town Main Street display at the end of the Halloweentown event. Pumpkins not picked up by 9:00 p.m. will be donated to the town Main street display.

RULES:
- Entry Fee is $2.00 per jack-o-lantern. Participants may enter multiple carvings.
- Entries must arrive at 5:00 P.M.
- Bring a light source for your jack-o-lantern.
- Pumpkins will be judged on originality, design, detail, and creativity. Winners will be announced when all the lanterns are A-GLOW along Cedar Valley Drive and 9:00 P.M.
- The carved pumpkins must be able to stand without any support or back drop needed.
- Inappropriate pumpkins will be disqualified.
- Participants may use carving kits or commercial stencils, however, handmade stencils or free hand carvings will earn more creativity points in the judging.
- Pumpkins may be painted or otherwise decorated; however, pumpkins MUST be carved to be entered into the contest.
- Judging will be “People’s Choice” with the public voting on the best.
